Happy Halloween

Halloween was fun this year. It rained so it put a little damper on our trick or treating at night. The rain did break and we were able to go out trick or treating for a little bit. Nana and Poppa Bill's had taco soup and pizza for the kids and then we went trick or treating with Anna Grace and Peyton. It was a fun Halloween for Will.

October Fall days

October was filled with football, pumpkin patches, and fall festivals. Will's teacher at school was so sweet to send me pictures of all their fall activities at school since I could not make it to attend. Will loves his school and friends and had a great fall with them.

Birthday Weekend

My birthday was October 8th and it fell on a Thursday. Doug brought me sweets from Rosie's Cookies and Cupcakes shop and treated me to a wonderful dinner at Park Heights. On Friday we headed to Oxford after work because the Rebels had a home game against New Mexico State and it was homecoming weekend. We had a wonderful time celebrating in Oxford at Old Taylor Grocery with my mom, dad, Mary, John, and Tucker. The game on Saturday was at 11am and I sent Doug and Will to the game and Luke and I chilled at the condo. I went to the square and went shopping and ran some errands in Oxford. AFter the game was over, Alecia and her kiddos headed to Oxford and we grilled steaks and shrimp at the condo and had a fun time. Alecia and her kiddos spent the night and we had one giant slumber party at the condo. It was a great birthday weekend!

Buffalo Park Pumpkin Patch

Monday was a bank holiday and we enjoyed a great day of having fun. We started the day off at the pumpkin patch at the Buffalo Park then we headed to get flu shots, eat lunch, and then a nap and laundry. I enjoyed the day off work with Doug, Will and Luke.

St. Peter's Pumpkin Patch

Every year in Oxford, St. Peter's church puts out pumpkins around their church and people use it as an opportunity to take fall pictures. The pumpkins are for sale and the money goes back to the church. I love this time of the year and I absolutely love it when the pumpkins are out at the church. It makes for a wonderful photo session and that's exactly what we did last weekend.

Alecia and her kids, and Mary, John, and Tucker all participated in the fall photo session. We had a great time taking pictures of the kiddos.

Luke is 5 months old

Luke turns 5 months old today. He is really starting to come out of his shell. He is very loud and loves to babble all the time. He cracks me up sometimes. He can't roll over yet but is trying really hard too. He loves to eat and eat and would do it all day long if he could. He eats a fruit and a vegetable of stage 1 baby food a day. He LOVES the food. He can hold his head up very well when he's on his tummy.

Luke wears a 6-9 months clothes and is outgrowing all the clothes big brother has handed down. I'm not sure about his weight but if I had to guess he is probably around 16-18 lbs at most. He will go back for another set of shots and a check up in November.

We are so thankful for Luke and what he means to our family.
