Easter 2010

We had a busy Easter weekend 2010. Doug and I both were off work for Good Friday so we enjoyed the day cleaning the house and catching up on household chores since we knew we were going to be busy all weekend. Nic, Kim, Ross, and Kalyn came in Friday afternoon so we cooked here at the house and visited with them. On Saturday, Ross went to an Easter egg hunt at Ballard Park and found a bunch of eggs. After the Easter egg hunt we went back to Doug's parents house and had Easter lunch. It was delicious and then we dove into the Easter Egg cake that I made. We cut Ross a piece of cake and he asked where the candles were, so of course we had to sing "Happy Birthday" to everyone. It was so funny!

Ross was so tired after all the festivities of the day that he just fell asleep on PawPaw as soon as he sat on the couch.

On Sunday we went to our early church service, then to Sunday School and then to my parent's church at 11am. From there we ate a good meal at the Tupelo Country Club with my family and then went home to take pictures and rest before we had to be at my Mamaw's 91st birthday party. It was a busy and fun day!
