The Silos is the cutest barn I've ever seen and is the perfect scene for a wedding. Haley had the barn and outside decorated so cute. All of the decorations were family heirlooms and things family had saved or items used from their land. The windows they wrote on were from a family home. Mamaw Penny saved vegetable cans and they put baby's breath in th and strung them across the beams.
Haley and Michael got married outside under an arbor her father made. The first four benches were old rustic pews and the rest of the seating were just chairs from the Silos. Aligning the aisles and at the end of each row were tree stumps with old white family vases with flowers in them.
Haley's bridesmaids wore turquoise dresses, flats and their hair all up or to the side. The guys wore gray tuxedos and the ring bearers had on gray tuxedos with suspenders and gray hats on. They were adorable. The ring bearers carried a sign that read "Uncle Michael here comes the bride" right before Haley walked down the aisle.
The wedding was so pretty and very sentimental. I loved the way the preacher went into how they met, what their reactions were when they first met, their future life together and plans, and about the proposal. He talked about how he asked each parent what they thought about Haley and Michael. When Barry, Haley's dad, was asked how he felt about Michael his answer was "he's okay." The ceremony in itself was very down to earth and personalable. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect and one of the sweetest ones I've been too.
The reception was held inside and outside near the barn. Haley had breakfast for reception food and had a whole buffet full of pancakes and all the toppings, bacon, grits, sausage, steak skewers, fresh fruit, biscuits and jelly, orange juice, tea, water, chocolate milk and coffee. It was delicious and perfect.
We even got a chance to pose with the busy bride and groom as they greeted all their friends and family. It was a great day to celebrate Haley and Michael.
Will survived even if he did get a bloody nose while rolling down a hill BEFORE the ceremony started and he also ran into a wooden table and bruised his face right below his eye. Poor thing! Weddings are not his thing!
Just a few more pictures of the wedding.
