NICU Day 31

Will is exactly 1 month old today and he weighs 1lb 8 oz or 680 grams!!!!!!!!! Yeah for the weight gain! His blood gas test was good this morning. But his chest xray showed that his lungs were hazy and showed some inflamation which is due to the respirator. The inflamation is the side effect of being on the respirator for a while and it should clear up over time as he comes off the ventilator again. Overall, Dr Nading is very pleased with his 1 month progress in the NICU. So HAPPY 1 MONTH BIRTHDAY sweet Will. Momma and Daddy are so pleased with you and your strength and weight gain. We love you so much!!!!
