Baseball weekend in Oxford

The Ole Miss Rebels opened up SEC play against Missouri last weekend in Oxford. We decided to head over for the weekend.

Friday night we made it to the game. Will again loved it.

Popcorn and fruit loops were the foods of choice again.

On Saturday we got to watch the football team scrimmage and we had fun.

While we were eating lunch at Boure, Will didn't feel good so we checked his temperature and it was 101. He literally fell asleep on my shoulder while I ate lunch. We didn't make it to the baseball game but headed back to the condo for Tylenol and a nap for Will. After his nap he still wasn't 100% so we decided to head back home.

On Sunday he felt a little better but later that afternoon his temp spiked to 103 and we immediately went to a walk in clinic where he was diagnosed with another ear infection and a bad cough.

All in all he is much better.

Spring Break '14

Will enjoyed a week of being spoiled by the grandparents during his Spring Break. The sweet lady who keeps Will doesn't keep kids during Spring Break because she follows the school calendar so we had to find another place for Will to stay because both of us had to work.

My mom kept him Monday, Tuesday and Friday and of course they were reunited again since she used to keep him for me while I worked part time. They had a great time playing outside, going to Walmart, and sleeping. On Tuesday they had a play date with the Wilson twins, Jack and Emily.

Then Papaw Penny took over on Wednesday and Thursday since he didn't have to drive the school bus. When you get these two together you never know what's going to happen. On Wednesday, all they did was slept, ate and played because it was rainy and a little cold.

On Thursday they went "loafing." Will had a blast. He went to see the John Deere tractors at Scruggs, ate lunch with Nana Lou at Peppers, and went to visit friends at the Nicu! Plus there is no telling what else they did that I don't know of or didn't get a text about. All in all they had fun and that's all that matters!!

We are so thankful for fun grandparents that can take care of Will when times like this happen. He loves his grandparents a lot and they definitely do a good bit of spoiling and Will has got them both wrapped around his fingers.

Thank you to our parents for taking care of Will and having so much fun with him during Spring Break!
