Will's end of year program HBC Dayschool

Will had his end of the year program for dayschool and got a certificate for completing PreK. It was a cute program and we had fun watching the kids sing their songs and say their bible verses.

Luke's 2 year check up and Will's 5 year shots

A doctor's office with 2 boys made for an interesting afternoon. Luke was due for his 2 year check up and Will needed his last dose of 5 year shots for "kindergarten." Doug and I took them and we got a good dose of the doctor's office with 2 wild boys. Thank goodness for stickers! It was an interesting afternoon indeed.

Muffins for Mom

Will's class had the sweetest party called "Muffins for Mom" the Friday before Mother's Day. I got to attend that morning with Will and he was so excited for me to be there with him. We ate muffins together and drank orange juice. He even made me the sweetest footprint with a bible verse on it. It's getting framed too!

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day weekend. Luke had a birthday party Saturday morning for his friend Joseph and then we headed to Oxford for the last Ole Miss baseball home game. We played Texas A&M and won but we had to leave early because the game was at 6pm. Sunday we slept in because we didn't have to be at church till 11am so the boys cooked (well Doug did) a wonderful breakfast which consisted of eggs and fruit, my favorite!

We met my family at FBC for church because Anna Grace was getting baptized at church. We enjoyed a nice church service then headed off to the Tupelo Country Club for a Mother's Day lunch. We had a good meal and a good time visiting.

After lunch, Doug's parents came over and we had Mother's day with his mom and grilled out shrimp and had shrimp scampi. Oh my goodness it was delicious!

Mother's Day was wonderful and the boys spoiled me rotten by getting me 2 pedicures and manicures that I can use this summer. I'm ready for one now!

I love being a MOM to my two precious sweet boys, Luke and Will. God has blessed me tremendously!

Happy Birthday Nana Lou

Nana Lou had her birthday on May 7th which is the day after Luke's birthday. After partying on May 6th for Luke's birthday we partied again for Nana Lou's birthday by grilling steaks and shrimp and having an ice cream cake. Happy Birthday Nana Lou, hope your day was great!

Luke turns TWO

Luke turned 2 on May 6th (yes I'm now posting about it). We had a Mickey Mouse party at our house on his actual birthday with all of our family there. It was a beautiful cool Saturday and Luke had the best time playing outside with his cousins. We grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and all ate outside and had a great time visiting. Luke got lots of Mickey Mouse things and "oohed" and "aahed" over all of them. He was so excited to have his own talking Mickey Mouse.
