Happy 13 months Will

Will is 13 months old today. He weighs about 17 and a half pounds. He is very active and such a fun boy! He still takes his bottle and it has been a pain to find the right cup for him to transition too. Ive bought almost every cup that has been made and we still haven't found one he likes. Table food is going well somewhat ok. He mostly gags on it, eats two bites and then is done. He is exploring everything now. He found the dishwasher tonight. He absolutely loves to play and crawl all over the house. I was vacuuming the other day and Will kept chasing me and the vacuum cleaner around. It was so funny. He loves to play with Maddie's toys as well as his toys. Maddie will take her toys and go hide them so Will won't get them. So funny!

Overall Will is a fast moving miracle.

He is taking therapy one day a week. We are improving in the areas of going from sitting to crawling, from crawling to sitting, and from pulling up to standing up. Guess he will be cruising soon.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to my favorite Valentines, Will and Doug! God has blessed me with more than I could have ever imagined. This time last year we were spending Valentines day with Will in the NICU and this year we are spending it with him at home. Wow I would have never imagined that but God is good and he has been good to us! Will is such a blessing to Doug and I that we are so blessed to have been called to be his parents. Today has been a special Valentines Day!

Our little explorer

Now that Will is fully mobile in terms of crawling, we have a little explorer on our hands. We have a play pen area set up in our den for him to play in with all his toys. Now he hardly wants to be in it. I let him loose the other day and he had a ball exploring the entire house. He went from the den to his bedroom back to the den and then crawled after me as I went from place to place. He loves to go under furniture. He is so much fun at this stage. Since the weather has been pretty and mid 60s this week we have been able to get out and enjoy some fresh air. Will loves getting out too and seeing something different to look at other than the inside of our house. We are on the countdown to the first of April and then we are free from being home bound. Come on April hurry up!!!!

Will has 3 beautiful pearly whites now, two on the bottom and one on the top. He can clap his hands and he is doing his best to pull up on everything. We start therapy next week so hopefully we can see some graceful improvements here soon. He also makes every effort to get his socks and shoes off everytime they are on his feet. It drives me crazy because I'm constantly putting them on and he is constantly taking them off. So much fun this sweet boy is!

No Maddie, you can't have my toy

This was a sign we needed to lower the bed

We got Will's one year pictures made a few weekends ago. This was the proof the photographer sent me! I'm dying to see more! Thumbs up guys!
