ICE - Nashville weekend

The weekend before Thanksgiving we traveled to Nashville to have a fun weekend with Doug's family and have Thanksgiving a different way. We had so much fun, minus the fact that I got sick the day we left but I toughed it out and made it, just didn't have an appetite. We visited Opryland Hotel and they had just opened their ICE exhibit with Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer as the theme. I had never been and wanted to see what it was all about. It was 9 degrees inside the exhibit and the ICE exhibit was hand carved sculptures all based on the Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer movie. We bundled and layered up to stay warm. They provided parkas for us to wear and we stayed warm that way. Inside the ICE exhibit was 3 slides that you could ride and we had a blast going down them with Will. After the ICE exhibit we headed over to check out the Opryland Hotel and see the Christmas decorations. Inside the hotel there were train rides, Build A Bear workshop, Santa, and much more. We had a great weekend. Later that evening we also bundled up (minus Luke and Nana Lou) and headed to watch the Rebels play Vanderbilt. It was cold and the outcome was not good and we left at 3rd quarter. The next day we went shopping for a bit and headed back home. It was a fun weekend in Nashville with Doug's family.

Luke's 18 month check up

Luke had his 18 month check up a few weeks ago. He is doing well. He weighed 24 lbs and 2 oz and was 31 1/2 inches tall. He was in the 55th percentile for weight and the 20th percentile in height. All in all he is doing great! He babbles a lot and can say several words like mama, dada, me, bye, hey, bubba, and car and several more. He walks everywhere and has sped up over the last couple of days. He is into books, anything that makes sound, and loves to push toys all over the house. He has learned to climb on things and under things as well. He has developed a strong attitude and will throw himself out on the floor and cry when he doesn't get his way. If you take his snack away then he's mad. He can eat anything and everything. He hasn't mastered the spoon and forks yet but loves to play with them. He also has a mouth full of teeth with more coming in and he's had 2 haircuts already.

I love my sweet Luke and he's been such a joy and a blessing to us all.

Halloween 2016

Halloween 2016 was a fun time had by Rubble from Paw Patrol and his puppy dog! Will was so excited about Halloween and dressing up. He had the best time trick or treating with the cousins. Luke and Tucker strolled in the red wagon and we took Luke's costume off of him because it was 80 degrees on Halloween night. We started off by trick or treating at Doug's office and the boys got lots of candy! Then we headed off to see the grandparents to get more treats and candy. After seeing Nana and Papaw we headed to Nana and Poppa Bill's house to meet up with the cousins, eat pizza and go trick or treating in their neighborhood. The boys had fun and it was fun night!

October Iphone in Review

October was a fun month. We celebrated my birthday, did lots of pumpkin patch things, attended many Ole Miss games, and had fun weekends in Oxford. Plus Luke started walking on October 21st and he hasn't stopped since then. Lots of memories were made and lots of laughs were had! Love my family! October's weather has not been the best with this 80 degree weather we are having but we have made the most of it. I'm ready for cold weather!
