Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was a special day for our family because this year we ALL went to church as a family together. Last year Will did not attend church because Easter fell a little too early for us to start taking him so he stayed with grandparents while mom and dad went to church. We all made it to early church on time and afterwards to eat the country club with the rest of my family. It was a great day celebrating our RISEN SAVIOR!

Mommy got her picture made with this sweet one

Off he goes and he's done with pictures

Got one more picture

Trust me, they really do love each other

Thankful for this PRECIOUS one right here who reminds me every day of the ultimate sacrifice Jesus paid for our sins. I worship and serve a RISEN SAVIOR because of this PRECIOUS face I see every single day! Thank you Lord for what you did on that cross many, many years ago!

Easter basket time

Nana Karen and Poppa Bill gave Will his Easter basket on Saturday. He got a kite, pinwheel, paddle ball set, cookies, bubbles, The Ugly Duckling book and a wind up chicken. So Saturday afternoon after the festivities at the club it became a perfect afternoon to try the kite out.

Will decided to check out his pin wheel again

Daddy finally got the kite in the air and Will was so amazed by it

Then we spotted a bunny and gave it some lovings

On Sunday after church we headed over to Nana Lou and Papaw's house to see their Easter present to Will. He got a Mickey Mouse potty from them. Oh dear Lord, I think they are sending us a message :)

Giving Nana and Papaw loving and thanking them for the potty

Later that day we gave Will his Easter basket filled with two sound books and some new summer clothes

Easter Festivities at the Club

On Saturday we went to the Country Club with cousins Anna Grace, Anessa and Peyton to have a little Easter fun. They had an egg hunt, carnival games, and a magic show. Will had a great time playing games and enjoying the beautiful weather.

First off we found the Easter bunny and Will was not thrilled for a picture at all.

Then we found something to jump on but he wasn't so sure about it

Then he spotted the fire truck and it was all down hill from there.

We took a break from the fire truck and got a bunny painted on our face

Then Alecia, mom and I decided to snap a quick picture

Then Anna Grace got to play in the fire truck

And then Will escaped again to the fire truck and found something fun to play with

Then it was time for Easter egg hunting

He was proud of his 1 of 4 eggs he found.

Then we stopped back by to have a picture made with the Easter Bunny and Will was smitten again!

Grove Bowl Weekend

This past weekend was Grove Bowl weekend aka Red-Blue game weekend at Ole Miss and it was a little chilly. Will braved the cooler weather and we had a blast.

Friday night we made it in town late so we opted for dinner at Oby's and late bed time.

On Saturday at noon was the Grove Bowl  football scrimmage game. It was interesting this year because they changed up how the team scrimmaged and we got to see a lot of new football players shine. Needless to say we are looking forward to a great 2014 Ole Miss football year with a great team!!

Then we took a few pictures in front of the Lyceum where the tulips are blooming. In fact they are blooming all over campus and it is one of my favorite seasons in Oxford besides fall.

Then we headed over to the baseball game where the Rebels were taking on Auburn in a double header due to the expected rain on Sunday. We did our very best to stay as long as we could but the weather got a little chilly so we opted for an early dinner at Old Venice and started to call it a day during the 7th inning of the first game.
