Mothers Day weekend

Mother's Day was a special weekend. We celebrated Luke's birthday, Lou's birthday and also Mothers Day and Baby Dedication of Luke and then a delicious lunch at the Tupelo Country Club with all our family. It was a wonderful weekend!

Blessed to be the mother of these two

Luke's 1 year check up

Luke's 1 year check up was last week. He weighs 21 lbs and 6 oz and was 29 inches tall. He was in the 54 percentile for weight and the 38 percentile for height. He is fat and short and I love it! Luke is such a happy baby and Dr Stone was pleased. He's not crawling yet but working so hard on it. Dr Stone was not too concerned about him not crawling. He did get 3 shots that day and took those like a champ. All in all Luke is healthy as ever. He told us to begin real milk (and we have) and he told us to not use the bottle or pacifier anymore (which he quit those at 9-10 months). So we are ahead of the game.

Nana's Birthday Party

Nana Lou had a birthday the day after Luke's birthday and also Mother's day weekend. We celebrated her birthday on her birthday which was May 7th. We grilled out and the older kids played baseball, jumped on the trampoline, and rode the gator. We had a delicious meal of steaks, shrimp, baked potatoes, corn, and ice cream cake. It was a wonderful day to spend with family.

April came and went like all other months do. We had lots of fun, enjoyed many baseball games in Oxford, had a little sickness hit our house, and have been enjoying the weather and being outside. Enjoy the recap of the April pictures.

Luke's Birthday Night

We celebrated Luke's birthday as a family on Friday night. We had spaghetti and cupcakes and ate outside on the patio. It was a fun time celebrating our 1 year old. Luke really enjoyed his spaghetti and played in his cupcake. It was a fun night. We will have his birthday party on May 20th.

Happy Birthday Luke

Happy Birthday Luke! I cannot believe 12 months has already flown by. Luke is the most enjoyable, relaxed, chilled, and most of all happy baby. He is so fun to be around and love on. He absolutely adores his older brother, Will. They play so well together and I cannot wait to see what they will be like in the years to come.

Luke is not crawling, walking or pulling up yet. He just stands up and bounces and its like he would rather jump than bounce. I swear he has springs in his legs. He can scoot all the way from the kitchen to the dining room and loves to find things to hide under and get trapped under. He is officially off of formula and I'm so thrilled. We are slowly making our way off of baby food and onto table food.

His weight is unknown at this time but by the looks of his pictures he is very healthy. He can wear some 12 months but mostly 18 months clothes but it all depends on the fit of them. He is in a size 4 wide shoe and has a lot of shoes. He wears a size 4 in diapers. He can play paty cake, wave bye bye, and loves to clap his hands. He also has 6 teeth, which he has 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom. He loves the song "Ole McDonald Had a Farm." He does not want to be left out of anything that we are doing.

Luke is such a perfect fit to our family. His little laugh and smile melts my heart. He is perfect in every way.

This weekend, which is also Mother's Day, we get to dedicate him to the Lord and commit to raising him in a Godly home. There is no doubt that this will be done as we have already raised our children in that manner.

Happy Birthday Luke, We love you to the moon and back. We will celebrate your 1st birthday party in a few weeks.
