Arriving at DISNEY

We woke up the next morning and had a goal of being at our hotel by 3pm. Well with traffic and stops, we made it by 4pm which wasn't so bad. The boys were excited and we finally made it to our hotel, Disney's Art of Animation. I LOVE this resort. We stayed in the CARS suite and the boys loved it and had fun seeing all the Cars from the movie. Later that evening we went to Disney Springs and had reservations at the Rainforest Cafe. Will wasn't so sure about the restaurant at first but he warmed up to it! After dinner, we walked around Disney Springs, went to the Disney Store, and then headed back to get ready for a busy and early day at Magic Kingdom. I rented a double stroller and it was a true lifesaver!

Travel Day to DISNEY

For vacation we did a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas with my entire family. Doug and I decided to take the boys to Magic Kingdom for 2 days before we boarded the ship to the Bahamas. We drove the whole way down with a stopover in Macon, GA. We started the trip out with a bang when Will wasn't feeling good so we went to the doctor before we left and we were rushed to the ER with what he believed that Will had an appendicitis. That trip delayed us from leaving for 2.5 hours but unfortunately it was NOT ruled an appendicitis but bad constipation. Luke slept in the car for the majority of the time that Doug and Will were in the ER. The ER rushed us through and we were sent on our way with instructions. We made it to Oxford, AL and ate at Cracker Barrel and then headed to Macon, GA to our hotel for the night. It was a LONG trip but the boys did great!

Father's Day

We are so thankful for Doug, Papaw and Poppa Bill's where we set aside a special day called "Father's Day" to celebrate them. We began the celebration with a fun "mow mow" ride by Papaw on Saturday night. The boys did so good that their treat was to have Papaw pull them in the wagon and to drive the mower around the yard.

Sunday we all went to church and had brunch with Papaw and Nana at The Grill. It was Doug's request and he got what he wanted. We gave Doug his gifts before church. He got Nueske's bacon, Duluth Trading boxers, and his DAD picture frame.

After brunch we went home to take naps and then headed over to Poppa Bill's house for dinner and more presents. We had the best dinner prepared by mom and my sisters. It was wonderful and the kids had fun playing dress up and make believe.

We are blessed with a great daddy in Doug and the boys literally worship the ground he walks on. Papaw and Poppa Bill's are the best in the world. They love our boys way too much! We are blessed to have them all!

End of Season baseball

We ended the baseball season on a good note. Will loved playing this year and Luke had fun watching "bubba" play. I found a picture from last year where Luke was in the walker watching Will hit baseballs in the backyard and he is always watching and cheering Will on in every sport he plays. He loves watching his "bubba" play ball.

May 2017 recap

May was a busy month but we celebrated as always. May brought Luke's 2nd birthday party, Nana Lou's birthday, Mother's Day celebrations, end of school year celebrations, doctors appointments (with shots), baseball, fun day trips, and Memorial Day fun. We had a fun time in May!

Memorial Day 2017

We celebrated Memorial Day at Nana and Poppa Bill's house. The "boys" went fishing, we grilled out, played baseball, and had smores around the fire pit. The weather was cool and we were unable to swim, as in the years past but we enjoyed the nice, cooler weather we had this year.
