Gator Riding and Baseball

Gator riding and baseball has been the highlight of our spring so far. Luke has thoroughly enjoyed taking the wheel of the gator and "going really fast." Will has started 6 year old baseball through our Park and Rec office and has a game most every Tuesday and Thursday nights. This 6 year old baseball is serious stuff but its fun to watch him enjoy the things he loves.

Easter 2018

It's been a while since I blogged so her goes some catch up.....

Easter 2018 was celebrated on Sunday April 1 this year. I took off on Good Friday and we went to Oxford for a nice weekend. We went shopping at the outlet mall in Southaven and then came back to watch the Ole Miss baseball series against Arkansas. It was an exciting game. After the game was over on Saturday the kids got to run the bases and do an Easter Egg hunt on Swayze Field. The boys had fun running the bases rather than the egg hunt. We loaded up and headed back home to get ready for Easter Sunday services the next day.

Since we were still living with mom and dad while our house was being renovated, the Easter bunny made a special stop at their house to deliver the boys their goodies. The boys got pjs, candy, beach towels, and a few more items. We enjoyed a wonderful Easter service at HBC and then met up with my family at the Tupelo Country Club to enjoy a nice lunch and more visits with the Easter bunny.

March Madness

It has been a crazy start to March but as we like to call it "March Madness" in our house. We are renovating our home and we are staying with my parents while we do this and are still trying to carry on a normal life. Well, it has been all but normal....

The boys have done good but have also got to do fun things with my parents which makes them happy too! We have gone fishing, played dress up, made smores and had a campfire, and also wore our crazy socks to school for World Down Syndrome day in support of our favorite therapist's daughter, Ava.

Ole Miss Baseball

We finally experienced an Ole Miss baseball weekend in Oxford when the Rebels played Tennessee. The weather has been not so favorable for us to enjoy the baseball games but we finally caught a quick break. We enjoyed a nice weekend in Oxford watching baseball, shopping, and eating. Mary John and Tucker were able to come over and enjoy it with us. This year was a lot better than last year and the boys are truly enjoying the love of Ole Miss baseball!

We went to the games Saturday and Sunday, ate at Oxford Grillehouse, shopped on the square, and had ice cream at the Marble Slab because preggo Mary was craving ice cream and of course we didn't fight her with it either, LOL!

Will caught a foul ball on Saturday. On Sunday after the game was over, Will got to meet Will Golsan which is his favorite Ole Miss baseball player and then he and I ran the bases! Luke ate popcorn and if you thought about touching it he would give you the "bad eye."

All in all it was a great weekend!
