Christmas morning was very eventful and fun at our house. Will was scared for Santa to come inside his house so we had to shut his door. Will told Doug to lock the door and shut his door because he didn't want Santa to come inside his house. So at 7:45am the boys still had not waken up so Doug went to the hallway between their rooms and said "ho ho ho Merry Christmas" and Will literally started crying. We opened the door and Will was awake and waiting on us to get him up. After that little tragedy Will was so excited to see what Santa brought him. It didn't phase Luke that much but he had fun playing with all the toys. Will got a Paw Patrol lookout tower, a tonka garbage truck, tonka dump truck, tonka bulldozer, some PJ Mask toys, puzzles, and a blue truck. He wanted a blue truck but when he saw the blue truck Santa brought him he said it was too small. I'm assuming he wanted a BIG blue truck like the one you actually drive. Luke got a Beatbo dancing animal, riding train, pull train, a musical drum, and some new books. The boys had a great Christmas and got everything they wanted.
I got a Ronaldo bracelet with the birthstones of Will, Luke, Doug and myself and there was a pearl in the middle to remember Drew by. It was a special gift!
Doug got his yearly memories calendar that I made him as well as some new shirts, Old Spice, and new pants.
Later that morning Doug's parents came over for brunch and more presents for the boys and us. We suprised Doug's dad with a brand new guitar made especially for him by Barry Joiner, which is Papaw's brother in law. It had a 1974 penny on it which was the year Nana and Papaw got married as well as all the grandkids were inscribed around it. It was cool to see his expression and shock on his face when he opened it. Will also got a Mickey microphone and a new guitar and we were serenaded with Christmas music from Will and his back up singers. Luke got Will's old Mickey guitar too.
