Happy 13 years

13 years and still going strong! I wouldn't have life any other way than with Doug and my 2 sweet boys!

We celebrated by a nice weekend in Birmingham, AL. We stayed at the Ross Bridge Resort in Birmingham and had the best time. We shopped, ate, and had a couples massage. It was so nice to get away from it all and relax!

Thanks to a wonderful 13 years and here's to many more!

Day at Sea - Disney Cruise Day 5

Our last day on the ship came to an end with a "Day at Sea" spent tootling back to Port Canaveral, Florida. We slept in and then had a great breakfast after we had a dance party with Goofy that morning. We also took this time to meet characters who we didn't get to meet throughout the cruise. Will also slammed his fingers in a revolving door so we had a nice visit to the medical doctor on the ship. It was an accident and his fingers were a little bruised and not broken at all.

We also had another dance party with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Chip and Dale. The boys had so much fun "busting" a move with the characters.

After our dance party we went to meet Chip and Dale. The boys pushed Dale over by accident and it was hilarious how they acted like Dale had fallen. He rolled on the floor and played along, too cute!

We had another wonderful dinner at Animator's Palate and then enjoyed a fabulous Disney show with more Disney characters to see. We had a great time and are so glad we got to take our boys to experience this fun with their cousins, aunts, and uncles, and especially Nana Karen and Poppa Bills. We had such a fun trip.

The next day we docked and then headed half way home to Dothan, AL with a quick shopping stop in Daytona Beach at the outlet mall to get my growing oldest child some clothes at the Polo store. I think he grew a whole entire foot and half on the trip but that's okay. Kids were exhausted and slept a good bit of the way.

The next day we headed from Dothan, AL to HOME and were so glad to be home. We had Doug's parents over for a light dinner to tell them all about our trip and who we met.

I'm hoping one day we will get to take our boys back on another Disney cruise and have TONS more fun! We cannot wait for that day!

Castaway Cay, Bahamas - Disney Cruise Day 4

We had 2 stops at Castaway Cay on this cruise and therefore we landed back to Castaway Cay. We decided to stay on the ship and enjoy the "less crowds" and try to swim and ride the AquaDuck slide on the ship while the lines were not horribly long. We were excited about this day because it was PIRATE night and Will was so pumped about dressing up. What Will didn't know was that we were going to meet Jake from the Neverland Pirates. He wanted to know if Jake was going to be on the ship for Pirate Night and we didn't know if he was going to be there or not. So when we saw it on the schedule we were NOT missing this character meet with Jake. Will and Luke were so excited to see Jake and their expressions tell it all!

After we met Jake we headed to the pool deck and hung out, rode the Aquaduck, played in the splash pad, watched Cars 2 by the pool, ate lunch, and called it an early day to get ready for PIRATE night!

My crew went to the room to take naps and I got off the ship to take some pictures of Castaway Cay and our ship docked in the water.

We got ready for PIRATE night and we had a blast! A pirate menu at Royal Palace was planned complete with pirate mugs with milkshakes for the kids. After dinner, we went to watch the movie "Cars 3" before our PIRATE night party with Mickey and the gang and fireworks. The movies "Cars 3" was great and we loved it. Luke made it half way through, just not interested in movies yet.
