Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve fell on a Sunday and we enjoyed a wonderful Church service and then Sunday School fellowship. After church we went home for a bit before we had to go back for Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 3pm. After candlelight service we headed to Outback Steakhouse with Doug's parents and had a nice meal and then Doug's parents and the boys went to look at Christmas lights. It was a fun Christmas Eve.

Cookies for Santa
This is the first time I ever attempted making cookies and icing from scratch for our Cookies for Santa. I decided to give it a try and see how it would work with 2 boys who love to be in the kitchen cooking and watching. I got my mom's recipe from when we were little and found a cream cheese icing recipe on pinterest. Off we went with the baking. The boys had a good time and I did the whole recipe on my own without help from the master chef, Doug. We had a little flour accident in the floor but who doesn't get messy and spill flour when you bake cookies?!?!?
Oh well, the cookies cooled and we piped the icing on them and decorated with sprinkles and M&Ms. The boys had a blast and we have our cookies ready for Santa's arrival!

Brunch with Santa
Brunch with Santa at the Tupelo Country Club is always a fun tradition with everyone. Will and Luke were so excited to see Santa that they hopped in his lap. Will told Santa he wanted a Sea Patroller from Paw Patrol and Luke told Santa he wanted chicken nuggets. It was quiet hilarious! We enjoyed a good time at Brunch with Santa.
Will and Luke's Christmas Program
Will and Luke had their dayschool Christmas program at Harrisburg Baptist Church. Will was so excited about his big debut and the program. Will was a wise man and part of the nativity scene and got to stand up front. Luke was a cow and was part of the animals in the program.
Disney on Ice FROZEN
We took the kids to see Disney on Ice FROZEN. It was fun and the kids enjoyed seeing all the Frozen characters and even Mickey and Minnie.
Elfie left us a surprise with Disney on Ice Frozen tickets to start our morning off.
