Phillipsburg, St. Maarten

We arrived in Phillipsburg, St. Maarten at around 8 that morning. We chose to do the dolphin swim and beach break in Anguilla. It was a 45 minute boat ride to Anguilla, dolphin swim, and then a beach break. Our excursion left at 9 that morning so we ordered room service, got ready and headed for our excursion.

St. Maarten island is divided in half between France and the Netherlands Antilies. Basically, one side is French and the other side is Dutch. During our boat ride we got to see the whole island of St. Maarten which was absolutely beautiful. Also during the boat ride I sat on the wrong side and got completely soaked because we were hitting choppy waves and it was horrible.

Ready for our dolphin swim

Welcome to St. Maarten

Unfortunately I didn't pay $30 a picture for our wonderful moments with the dolphins but take my word, we got to boogy board, ride on their backs, kiss them, touch them, and they basically performed a small show for us. It was a wonderful experience. After our encounter with them we had a nice beach break, lunch and then headed back to the boat. After sitting on the wrong side of the boat, we opted to sit up top and not get wet on the way back.

This is where we had the encounter with the dolphins

See ya later Anguilla

After we got back to the boat, we crashed and took a nap then got ready for dinner and a show.

And this cute little animal ended up on my bed!

Next stop - St. Kitts
