Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl and Happy New Year

Doug and Will went to the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Ga with Papaw Penny, Nic and Ross to see the Ole Miss Rebels play on New Years Eve in the Georgia Dome against TCU. Momma had to work so Doug was in charge of documenting this trip by sending me pictures. Thank you hunny for the tons of pictures I requested and you sent me so I could do a quick blog about your trip to end the 2014 year.

Sent these two crazies off to Atlanta on Tuesday morning

Not even on the road for 15 minutes and someone fell asleep

Unfortunately the Rebels didn't pull out a win against TCU. They lost 42-3. Such a depressing game but proud of the way the Rebels fought as much as they could.

While they were way, I cleaned out closets, put up Christmas decorations, and rested. I enjoyed my two nights by myself but am ready to have my guys home!

Well the 2014 Year has come to an end. We have so much to be grateful and thankful for in 2014 and we look forward to another year of blessings in 2015 with the anticipated arrival of our second son, Luke. God has been so good to us and we ask for his continued blessings on a wonderful and blessed 2015.

Happy New Year and may you be blessed in 2015.

Update on Baby Luke

I haven't done any updates on Baby Luke since we found out we were pregnant or had the gender reveal party.

Baby Luke is doing well and growing perfectly. Back in November we had the genetic testing done and everything was good and they didn't think he was going to have any problems. Praise the Lord!

Now that Christmas is over I'm ready to start the nursery but first things first is to let this sweet little one bake a little longer. So I'm trying not to rush things and it will get done in time!

Here's a few belly shots

17 weeks and a few days on December 20th

18 weeks on Christmas Day, December 25th

We have had several sonograms to see Luke just because I am being monitored a lot due to being high risk. Luke is being shy on the sonograms so we don't have any good pictures to post but when we do I will definitely post them.

I'm doing well so far. I began taking progesterone shots at 16 weeks and I get them once a week. Yes they hurt but I suffer through them knowing that these shots will increase my chances of having a full term baby by 30% and that I'm happy about. We are all about doing everything we can to make it to 36-37 weeks and then we are home free. As I type this I'll be 19 weeks on New Years Day so please keep the prayers coming and all will be well!

I'm going to do better in 2015 as updating the blog and posting about Luke because we cannot leave him out!

I'm so ready for this little guy to be a BIG BROTHER!
Christmas is going to be WILD next year!

Christmas at Mom and Dad's

Later on Christmas day we went to mom and dad's to have lunch with my family and open more presents. We had a great time and the kids were WILD to say the least!

Christmas Day

Well Santa came to our house on Christmas Day. It was a fun day. Will got a John Deere gator to ride outside, clothes, Mickey Mouse guitar from Doug's parents, a scooter and more toys from my parents.

Someone's ready for Santa

A week before Christmas we had Christmas with Doug's side of the family. His brother and sister in law and kids came in from TN for the day and we had a blast visiting, eating, and watching the kids open presents and play together.
