Happy 15 Months Will

Yes my baby Will turned 15 months on April 19th and yes I'm 8 days late blogging about it. My mind has been crazy lately because I have had too much going on to even think that he can be 15 months old already.

We went to the doctor this week for his check up and Will weighed 18lbs 3oz and was 30 inches long. This puts him in the 4th percentile for a 15 month old in height and the 2nd percentile for weight of a 15 month old. If he was measured as an 11 month old he would be in the 75th percentile for height and the 5th percentile for weight. So it looks like we are going to have a tall and very skinny boy. So the doctor told us NO MORE baby food which I freaked out about. We are doing our best to pack on the pounds for Will so when we go back we can be at least be or close to 20 pounds.

So far Will has eaten chicken, variety of veggies and fruits, biscuits, nutra grain bars, pancakes, animal crackers, gold fish, gerber dinner trays, ham, cheese cubes, eggs, and fish. So far he liked them all. I was not prepared for this but Will's physical therapists have helped me figure this all out. I have no clue what to feed him. I was scared. He always gagged at everything but now he is not and is doing so good with it. He still drinks whole milk out of the sippy cup and is really learning how to hold it and self feed it to himself. He's growing up and it makes me sad!

He wears size 3 diapers and is wearing clothes between 12-18 months. He is pulling up on everything, cruising around the furniture and trying his best to figure out this walking thing. He does good when he is behind a toy but if you let him go he goes plop on the floor. His therapy is going great and they are really impressed with all the progress he has made.

He loves going to Mother's Day out on Thursdays, to the gym daycare with me on Wednesdays, and to Church and Sunday School. He loves going to restaurants and seeing people. He stares at everybody and just watches what they are doing. He's very observant. He has visited some of our favorite restaurants so far: Chickfila, Peppers Deli, Danvers, Atlanta Bread, Ole Venice, Cracker Barrel, Agnews, and Centerville Fish and Steak.

So as you can see our 1lb 1oz miracle baby is making great progress and we continue to give all the glory and praise to God for him. We pray every night that God will continue to use him and grow him into the perfect boy he is supposed to be.
