Daddy and Will time

Doug and Will got to spend some skin to skin time together tonight. What a sweet moment as a mother to witness your husband and child together for the first time. Doug was literally speechless about the time him and Will spent together. I enjoyed every minute by watching them and capturing the moment on camera and video. We have been overwhelming blessed by such a great NICU staff and team of doctors. Dr Omara prayed over Will and us tonight and I cannot tell you how much that meant to us to know that he is so compassionate about his little patients in the NICU. Wow what an amazing doctor he is and to pray over Will, I just can't explain it! It was a moment that the Holy Spirit completely filled Will's room with his presence tonight and especially today.

I've heard the song "How Great is our God" by Chris Tomlin over and over again today and I cannot get the words out of my head. It speaks volumes to us and what we have experienced over the last couple of days and weeks. God is so great and so good that his timing is perfect when we need it the most. We redid the nursery this past weekend which was extremely hard to do but God knew exactly what we needed the most and he provided us with a very special moment of skin to skin time with Will. How can you say "thank you" for that special and precious time??
