Will is off the ventilator!! They took him off at 9:49am today and is doing good. Blood gases were drawn at 10:45 and they were good. They will be drawn again at 4pm this afternoon. So all is well right now. He gained 10 grams over night which is up to 830 grams but still 1lb 13oz. We will do skin to skin again and it seems to be working and improving his functions which is great!
